Search and analyze your own Lemon session logs (older/parent conversations) using jq.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# session-logs Search your complete conversation history stored in Lemon session JSONL files. Use this when a user references older/parent conversations or asks what was said before. ## Trigger Use this skill when the user asks about prior chats, parent conversations, or historical context that isn't in current memory files. ## Location Session logs live under `~/.lemon/agent/sessions/` and are organized by encoded working directory name: - `<encoded-cwd>/*.jsonl` - Full conversation transcript per session For example: `~/.lemon/agent/sessions/--home-user-project--/2026...jsonl` The first line in each `.jsonl` is a session header with metadata. ## Structure Each `.jsonl` file contains messages with: - `type`: `"session"` (metadata header) or `"message"` (conversation entries) - `timestamp`: Epoch timestamp - `message.role`: `"user"`, `"assistant"`, etc. - `message.content[]`: Text, thinking, or tool calls (filter `type=="text"` for human-readable content) - `message.usage.cost.total`: Cost per response ## Common Queries ### List all sessions by date and size ```bash for f in ~/.lemon/agent/sessions/*/*.jsonl; do …

mdr add z80dev/lemon/session-logs@sha256:a6a2f046b1208e92The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261021.d2c9ca0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
