Pull the latest guidelines from every configured repo (read- and write-scope).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Sync Repos
## Overview
Pull the latest guidelines from every repo in `evolve.config.yaml`
`repos:` list — both `scope: read` (subscribe-only) and `scope: write`
(publish targets). Write-scope repos use a rebase strategy so any
unpushed local publish commits are preserved.
## Workflow
### Step 1: Run sync script

```
### Step 2: Display summary
Show the script output to the user. If there are no repos configured,
tell them they can add one with `/evolve-lite:subscribe`. If there
are no changes, explain that everything is already up to date.
## Notes
- Read-scope repos are mirrored exactly via `git fetch` + `git reset --hard`
- Write-scope repos use `git fetch` + `git rebase` so unpushed local
publish commits are preserved
- Sync results are logged to `.evolve/audit.log`
The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260504.09b173d, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
