Use when the user wants real-time web or news results with AI-summarized answers and citations — Grok Live Search via BlockRun. Cheapest path for "what just happened" questions where freshness beats neural-semantic ranking.

Real-time web + news search with AI-summarized results and citations. **Flat $0.081 per call on Base ($0.08 + $0.001 network fee; $0.08 on Solana), at any `max_results`** — verified against live 402 quotes 2026-10-06. Best for *fresh* queries; for semantic / neural research use `blockrun_exa` instead.

How to install
mdr add blockrunai/blockrun-mcp/search@sha256:30cd8f401f253871The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.abaafb2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
