Download a paper PDF/CAJ from CNKI. Requires user to be logged in. Use when user wants to download a specific paper.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# CNKI Paper Download (文献下载)
## Prerequisites
User **must be logged in** to CNKI with download permissions.
## Arguments
`the user request` is optionally a paper detail URL. If blank, uses current page.
## Steps
### 1. Navigate (if URL provided)
If URL provided: use `navigate_page` to go to the URL directly (no wait_for needed — Step 2 handles waiting).
**Important**: Always use `navigate_page` instead of clicking links on the search results page. Clicking opens a new tab and wastes 3 extra tool calls (`list_pages` + `select_page` + `take_snapshot`).
### 2. Check status and download (single async evaluate_script)
Replace `FORMAT` with `"pdf"` or `"caj"`:

How to install
mdr add jensen-yao/agents-skills/cnki-download@sha256:eb750aecd96913feThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260815.3e2d588, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
