Copy the active Claude Code or Codex CLI chat transcript path to the macOS clipboard.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Copy Transcript Path Copy the active chat's transcript path to the clipboard. This skill is coordination-exempt: skip the ai-coord gate for its declared work. ## Supported Chat Hosts Before doing any work, identify the current chat host. If it is not Claude Code or Codex CLI, stop with this error: `This skill only works in Claude Code or Codex CLI.` ## Workflow Resolve `scripts/copy-transcript-path.sh` relative to this `SKILL.md`. Run the helper with no arguments: ```sh bash <skill-dir>/scripts/copy-transcript-path.sh ``` Return the helper's successful stdout verbatim and stop. Do not infer a transcript from the current project, select a recent session, or add explanation. Successful completion requires the helper to exit 0 and you to return its stdout verbatim. Report a helper failure as the outcome. A helper failure does not count as completion.

How to install
mdr add paulrberg/agent-skills/copy-transcript-path@sha256:79b59cfda727ad84The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261005.aec7204, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
