Enhance an existing README: theme-aware hero, feature tour, screenshots or GIF, accurate badges, synced content. Use when "enhance README", "make README prettier", "add screenshots", or "showcase the app". Prose only → docs-writer.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
> Surface router: `/uiux`. You are here: `enhance-readme`. Native iOS/Android (SwiftUI / Compose, no web layer) is out of scope — use Apple HIG / Material directly. # Enhance README **Degree of freedom: MIXED.** Caption and tour selection `[HIGH freedom]`; capture, generator, gitignore, Camo-safe names `[LOW freedom — run exactly]`. Add a theme-aware hero image and a tour grid to a project's README so the repo advertises itself visually instead of being a wall of text. ## This skill vs neighbors | Skill | Owns | |---|---| | **enhance-readme** (this) | Theme-aware hero, feature tour, screenshots, accurate badges, synced content | | `docs-writer` | README prose, API references, code comments, changelog entries | | `audit-registry-listing` | Read-only audit of README first screen, npm/PyPI metadata, topics | | `workflow-gtm` | Taking a shipped repo to market: measure, message, launch, weekly loop | ## How to reason 1. **Detect** — live URL vs local, theme toggle, login 2. **Capture** — dark and light at 1600×1000; promote to `docs/screenshots/` 3. **Weave** — name + tagline + `<picture>` hero + tour under badges …

How to install
mdr add kensaurus/cursor-kenji/enhance-readme@sha256:35375f5a46019a92The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.95c89e5, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
