The Skillberry proxy intervention — put the optimized capability in the Skillberry Store and let the Skillberry Proxy-Agent (SPA) inject it into the agent's LLM calls, so the benchmark never sees skill files. Use when a capevolve.yaml sets `intervention: blackbox`, or when you need to provision, start, deploy to, stop or clean that stack.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Intervention: blackbox (delivered through the Skillberry proxy)
An **intervention** answers *how a candidate reaches the model under test* — as opposed to a
**capability**, which is *what gets edited*. The two are independent: the same
`skill-package` capability can be delivered by writing files where a runner reads them
(`intervention: direct`) or by this intervention.

The agent gets no skill files, no mounted directory, no visible prompt edit — which is
the shape Skillberry actually ships, so optimizing here optimizes the real thing.

How to install
mdr add skillberry-ai/cap-evolve/blackbox@sha256:cefce40e38d21fd3The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261011.b9ca4e4, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
