Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # DeepWorkPlan — Devcontainer Addon
Give the repository a **reproducible, isolated dev container** that any human
or AI agent can open the same way — from a terminal (`bash dev.sh up`), from
VS Code / Cursor ("Reopen in Container"), or with the `devcontainer` CLI.
This is an **opt-in addon**, never required for a repo to be AI-first and
never a conformance gate.
This addon is a **thin integrator** of **devcontainer-kit**
(`https://github.com/DailybotHQ/devcontainer-kit`, MIT, works without DWP).
The Dockerfile template, the render (`dck init`), the pinned images and
tools, the entrypoint, SSH, Herdr registration and the `dck-dockerfile`
skill are the kit's; this addon decides **whether** to offer it, **which
options** fit the repository, and **how to validate** the result. It
carries no copy of the template and no company-specific network, volume or
file name.

How to install
mdr add dailybothq/deepworkplan-skill/deepworkplan-addon-devcontainer@sha256:6c5845df3b095cc9The line at the top of this page pins the label v7.8.1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
