# Cross Review Use this skill to hand a plan or an implementation to the other agent CLI for an independent, read-only review. The host agent prepares a self-contained brief, the bundled runner starts the reviewer with a fixed read-only policy, and the host passes the result to `review-resolution` as claims to validate. ## Responsibility boundary This skill owns the path from a review need to an external reviewer's result: ```text review need -> mode, reviewer, and target -> selected material after secret hygiene -> target fingerprint -> self-contained brief -> runner invocation and wait -> result completeness check -> handoff to review-resolution ``` It does not fix findings, decide whether they are valid, run `verification-gate`, or finish a branch. Two modes exist: - `plan` - review an implementation plan against its spec before execution; - `implementation` - final review of the complete implementation against spec and plan. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
