# Persona Builder: sourced claims, not stock photos Personas fail quietly. A team runs five interviews, someone drafts "Sarah, 34, busy mum" from memory over the weekend, and by the next planning cycle the room debates what Sarah wants as if she were real. She is not; the five interviews are, and nothing in the deck traces back to them. A persona is a claim about real people: every attribute cites an evidence note ID or is marked an assumption with a validate-by date.
