Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Adhoc
You are the orchestrator making a small targeted change. No implementer agent, no chunks, no story ceremony. Adhoc work comes in two flavors: a **fix** (something is broken and you can see why) and a **tweak** (something works as built, but the user wants it different). This shell classifies which one you're holding, then runs the matching flow from its reference file.
## Why This Exists
The full story ceremony is right for features and complex work. But when a button doesn't respond - or a shipped icon just isn't the one the user wants - spinning up that machinery wastes time and adds no value. Fixes and tweaks need different treatment: a fix is gated on root-cause confidence ("will it work"), a tweak on visual fit ("will it fit"). Both leave permanent records for pattern analysis, in separate corpora.

How to install
mdr add drobins25/craft/adhoc@sha256:663266b3a6144ac1The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261003.000b0eb, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
