Create and verify dense xBRIEF artifacts (json|md|both) at an explicit --out path. On-demand pack templates for scope/playbook/mission/project styles. Use when compressing SoT into xBRIEF or running xbrief:create / xbrief:verify. Do NOT trigger on scope lifecycle (promote/activate/complete).

# Deft Directive xBRIEF — on-demand create/verify

Create and verify dense xBRIEF artifacts (json|md|both) at an explicit path. Pack templates load on use — not an always-on novel.

## When to Use

- Need a dense SoT brief (scope, playbook, mission, project) without freestyling long prose
- Operator or agent says `xbrief create`, `xbrief verify`, or `compress into xbrief`
- ⊗ Scope lifecycle work (promote / activate / complete) — use scope:* / intake instead

How to install

The exact contents, by fingerprint

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260924.0a2af4b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
