writing-plans is agent-read markdown (skill) from arbiterforge/codearbiter: The spec-to-plan bridge. Routed to by /feature once the brainstormed spec is approved, and by /sprint before execution. Decomposes the spec into 2–5 minute tasks, each carrying its exact file path(s) and a concrete verification step that maps to a tdd obligation. Writes the plan to .codearbiter/plans/<slug>.md, ordered with dependencies flagged and an MVP slice identifiable. Nothing executes until every task has a path and a verification and the task set covers every acceptance criterion..
Indexed from public GitHub and served as immutable, content-addressed versions. Install it pinned to an exact SHA-256 with the mdr CLI, and every file is verified against the hash recorded here before it reaches your agent. The deterministic audit below grades the latest version, and the same file always earns the same grade.
How to install
mdr add arbiterforge/codearbiter/writing-plans@git:20260830.00ec49fmdr add arbiterforge/codearbiter/writing-plans@sha256:1da1f94eeb03ffacPin to a label to follow the author's releases, or to a sha256 to freeze the exact bytes forever. Either way the resolved hash is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install reproduces it on any machine.
