Make product screens look designed, not templated - dashboards, a map or canvas with side panels, data views, detail pages, forms and flows, lists, mobile screens. Use whenever you build or change an app screen, a view or a component in web/ (the landing is landing-story; the visual direction is /uak-design-lock). Covers layout recipes, hierarchy, craft, the 3-second judge test and the design-lint gate.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Product UI · screens that look designed The visual direction comes from `/uak-design-lock` (skill `frontend-design`); the landing is `landing-story`. App screens are this skill. Why (Chilangatón, a 7-hour sprint): the first UI was a column of white boxes with gray borders, raw `stone-*`/`emerald-*` classes, every label `text-lg font-semibold`, and each view with its own badge and toggle. It was redone from scratch 3 hours in, and the team nearly lost on it. ## 0. Before the first line 1. Read `web/DESIGN.md`: your screen's row of `## Screens` names its recipe and hero. Open (Read the PNG) the locked screen with that recipe in `web/public/design-lock/screens/`, not only the wow screen: copy its layout, not another feature's. Your screen sits inside `AppShell`; never build a header or a nav of your own. 2. Build from the UI kit (the stack's UI paths: `web/src/lib/ui` or `src/components/ui`). A piece or a size is missing? Ask its owner (`uak msg <design task> --kind request "component · variant · why"`); when the design task is done and nobody owns the kit any more, add the variant to the kit itself. Never a local copy, never the wrong size. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
