# Manage
Guarded Codex config management for agents, skills, rules, and local config.
The installed plugin tree is immutable input. Resolve requested targets against consuming project or explicit user-approved external scope; never edit this skill's plugin cache, packaged role cards, shared helpers, runtime assets, or package manifests. Codex Rig agent links are managed only by bundled `agent-shims` workflow, not by this general-purpose skill.

How to install
mdr add borda/ai-rig/manage@sha256:8227978cbcb4bca0The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261011.792420e, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
