Route agent notifications to specific channels by type — prevent alert fatigue from single-channel flooding.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
## Context
When a Squad grows beyond a few agents, notifications flood a single channel — failure alerts drown in daily
briefings, tech news buries security findings, and everything gets ignored. This is the pub-sub problem:
a single message queue for everything is a recipe for missed alerts.
The fix is **topic-based routing**: agents tag notifications with a channel type, and a routing function
sends them to the appropriate destination.
**Trigger symptoms:**
- Important alerts missed because they're buried in routine notifications
- Team members turning off notifications entirely (signal overwhelm)
- Onboarding friction: "where do I look for X?"

Define a `.squad/teams-channels.json` (or equivalent) mapping notification types to channel identifiers:

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
