workflow template — researcher gathers sources, writer synthesizes into a 400-word brief; pre-installed, activates in Phase 2.

# daily-research-brief
A 2-stage pipeline for "give me a researched take on X by tomorrow morning." Researcher pulls sources, writer synthesizes. Ships as a single markdown file the user can paste into Slack/Telegram/their docs.
**Phase 1 status:** pre-installed but inactive (template_kind loader is Phase 2 work).

Researcher gathers ≥5 sources (web + memory), writes them up in a findings markdown file with sentiment + relevance scoring. The dispatcher validates source count + file path before advancing.

How to install
mdr add vodouai/os/daily-research-brief@sha256:3f88cc7533494fd1The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.0.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
