Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Azure Pipelines Generator ## Overview Generate production-ready Azure DevOps Pipeline configurations following current best practices, security standards, and naming conventions. After generating any **complete** pipeline file, always validate it using the `devops-skills:azure-pipelines-validator` skill, fix any reported issues, and re-validate before presenting to the user. Skip validation only for partial snippets, documentation examples, or when the user explicitly requests it. ## Philosophy - Generate pipelines that are deterministic: pin every image, task and runtime version. - Keep secrets out of YAML; reference service connections, variable groups or Key Vault instead. - Prefer reusable templates over long inline pipelines, and validate every complete file before delivery. ## When to Use - Creating or updating an `azure-pipelines.yml` for build, test or deploy. - Defining multi-stage deployments with environments, variable groups and service connections. - Writing Docker build and Kubernetes/AKS deployment pipelines. - Producing reusable step, job or stage templates and the pipelines that consume them. ## When Not to Use …

How to install
mdr add pantheon-org/tekhne/azure-pipelines-generator@sha256:2d5e59d25f858f29The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261002.e6369ee, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
