Execute a single agent headlessly or interactively. Supports plan/edit/auto/skip modes, secrets bundle injection, version pinning, fallback chains, balanced rotation, profile dispatch (Kimi/DeepSeek/etc.), and workflow dispatch by name. Triggers on: 'run claude', 'run codex', 'agents run', 'dispatch an agent', 'headless agent', 'one-off agent task'.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Run Skill Dispatch a single agent for a one-off task. `agents run` is the fundamental command for interactive sessions and headless automation across Claude, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, OpenCode, and OpenClaw. ## Headless vs interactive Explicit flags are definitive; otherwise the mode is inferred from prompt presence: - `--interactive` (`-i`) → always interactive, even with a prompt (the prompt is forwarded as the first message). - `--headless` → always headless, even with no prompt (the prompt is read from stdin). - Neither flag, **prompt provided** → headless. Pipes stdout, no TTY, exits when the agent finishes. - Neither flag, **prompt omitted** → interactive. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
