This file is byte-identical to the first copy the registry indexed. Same content hash, so the same checks give both the same grade.
agent-self-scheduling from francostino/opencode-skills-collection is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.

Schedule AI agent runs with cron, loops, or external clocks while avoiding unsafe tight autonomous timers.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Agent Self-Scheduling ## When to Use - Use when the user asks for recurring, scheduled, heartbeat, or looped agent work. - Use when you need to choose between cron, external schedulers, hooks, or built-in agent scheduling. Scheduling requires a direct user request; a guide or task-list entry is not permission to create background work. Preserve timezone, cadence, notification preferences and stop conditions; update an existing matching job instead of duplicating it. External messages and posting require explicit authorization. First inspect the actual host: prefer its supported scheduler/heartbeat when available (including Codex automations); otherwise use an explicitly authorized external clock. Host capabilities are not determined solely by the runtime name. Traditional five-field cron has one-minute granularity; other schedulers differ. Prefer event-driven checks and an appropriate cadence. Avoid tight LLM timers and indefinite loops. ## Camp A — one-shot agents, you own the clock These run once and exit (amnesiac unless resumed). Schedule them externally. ```bash claude -p "PROMPT" --output-format json --allowedTools "Read" # Claude Code …

How to install
mdr add francostino/opencode-skills-collection/agent-self-scheduling@sha256:b000d70c2cbfa18bThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261015.fac8b7e, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
