Emperor Time — REQUIRE + DESIGN. Grill intent Socratically, write acceptance criteria and a fat work order a zero-context worker can execute. Use when planning, writing a spec, designing an approach, brainstorming, or before any implementation. Pairs with G1/G2.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Emperor Require-Design (G1/G2 wrapper) ## MUST — grill checklist first Before any implementation action (product code, scaffolding, product deps, or BUILD), open `skills/emperor-require-design/grill-checklist.md` (Chain Jail leaf from Superpowers `brainstorming` → **HARD-GATE** only) and/or run `scripts/emperor grill` (prints the mechanical GRILL / STEP / MUST card). No jumping to impl without Step 5 design approval. Do not load whole `brainstorming`; ET + require-design orchestrate. ## Steps 1. Run `scripts/emperor grill` → quote `GRILL checklist=yes`. Advance steps with `scripts/emperor grill --advance N N+1` (skips fail). Jumping to code → `scripts/emperor grill --reject-impl` (HARD-GATE exit 1). Path taxonomy: record `Path: spike|bounded|architectural` + `Stage approval: …`; validate with `scripts/emperor grill --check-path <task-dir>` (fails on missing path, stage skip, or impl before approval). This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
