Architecture reviews across 7 dimensions (structural, scalability, enterprise readiness, performance, security, ops, data) with scored reports. Triggers on: "review architecture", "critique design", "audit system", "assess scalability", "enterprise readiness", "technical due diligence". NOT for diagrams, use architecture-diagram.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Architecture Reviewer
Systematic, framework-driven architecture review skill. Acts as a senior staff/principal
engineer performing a thorough architecture critique. Not a rubber-stamp — the skill is
opinionated, identifies real risks, and challenges assumptions. Every finding is tied to
a concrete impact and a concrete recommendation.
## Workflow Overview
The review proceeds in 4 phases:
1. **Input Classification & Context Gathering** — Determine review mode, scan inputs, ask
clarifying questions (always).
2. **Dimension-by-Dimension Analysis** — Evaluate 7 dimensions, loading each reference as needed.
3. **Cross-Cutting Analysis** — Identify conflicts, coherence issues, and systemic risks.
4. **Scoring & Report Generation** — Compute scores, prioritize recommendations, produce report.
---
## ⚠️ CRITICAL: Scoring & Format Quick Reference
**These constraints are NON-NEGOTIABLE. Memorize before starting any review.**
```text
SCORE SCALE: 1-5 only (NOT 1-10, NOT percentages)
Half-scores (3.5) permitted with justification
SEVERITY LABELS: [S1] Critical — System will fail or is exploitable
How to install
mdr add mathews-tom/armory/architecture-reviewer@sha256:a2079e6e39bf9c73The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.1.1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
