Show who has returned, who is still working and how much output a background Workflow run produced. Use when the user asks about workflow progress, says "/workflows doesn't work", asks "is the workflow done", "how's the workflow going", "check the workflow", or wants to inspect a multi-agent orchestration run.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Workflow status
For harness-owned isolated role workers, run `citizen role status` or
`citizen role status <worker-id>`. Report status, runtime, role and result path from those records.
They are separate CLI processes and do not appear as native subagent threads.
This reader inspects local Claude workflow journals from any client with filesystem access.
It does not inspect Codex native agent threads or hosted runs. For those, use the client's native
agent view; an empty local journal search does not mean no agents are running.

Claude Code expands `CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR` to this skill's installed directory. In another client,
resolve this SKILL.md's absolute parent directory before invoking the script. Never execute an
unexpanded placeholder. Pass `--terminal-status completed|failed|cancelled` only with an exact
…Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add jakeselby/model-citizen/workflow-status@sha256:2f513ea165b80f97The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260929.1af83d7, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
