Use this skill when Pioneer should delegate current-turn work to attached task-backed subagents, coordinate parallel child agents, wait for child results, review/revise/accept/cancel/detach attached work, or synthesize accepted child results into the parent answer.

# Pioneer Attached Subagents Attached subagents are task-backed child agents created to help with the current user turn. They do focused work in hidden child threads, but the parent agent owns the user-facing outcome. A child result is evidence, not the final user answer, until the parent reviews it, accepts it, integrates it, or deliberately rejects/routes it elsewhere. The initiating thread is the original user-facing conversation. A subagent executes in an internal child thread; its parent may also be a child. Results pass through the assigned reviewer before becoming part of the user-facing answer. ## Product Model Use this skill for immediate delegation only: - parallel investigation; - independent verification; - focused review; - independent file/system/hypothesis inspection; - work that should block the parent answer until reviewed. Do not use this skill for scheduled, recurring, future, or long-running background work. How to install
mdr add pioneerdotai/pioneer/subagents@sha256:7cf9ffe5c5d88ab9The line at the top of this page pins the label v0.2.2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
