Match indexed brand assets to calendar posts and assign each a creative mode. "which photo goes with which post".
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# /socialforge:match-assets — Asset Matcher
Match brand assets to parsed calendar posts using the multi-factor scoring algorithm. Assigns one of 4 creative modes per post.
## Context efficiency
Asset-heavy skill. **Grep before Read** the asset catalog (`${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_DATA}/socialforge/brands/<brand>/asset-index.json`) — never list the asset directory. Reference generated images / videos by path, not by loading metadata. Brand profile loads once per session.
## Prerequisites
- Calendar parsed (calendar-data.json exists)
- Asset index built (asset-index.json exists)
If either is missing, prompt: "Run `/socialforge:parse-calendar` first, then `/socialforge:index-assets`."
## The Matching Algorithm
For each post, calculate a multi-factor score against every indexed asset:

| Suitability Match | 25% | Asset's "suitable_for" vs post context |
| Content Bucket Match | 20% | Does asset suit this content bucket? |
| Crop Feasibility | 15% | Can asset be cropped to all required platform ratios? |

How to install
mdr add indranilbanerjee/socialforge/match-assets@sha256:12104e8335c93394The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.4d8885f, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
