Set up oxlint-tailwindcss — Tailwind CSS v4 lint rules for oxlint — in a project, and act on its diagnostics. Use when a project uses Tailwind CSS v4 and oxlint, when adding Tailwind class linting, or when fixing `tailwindcss(...)` diagnostics.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# oxlint-tailwindcss An oxlint plugin that checks Tailwind CSS v4 classes against the project's own design system: that each class exists, that classes don't override each other, that they aren't deprecated, and that colors and values come from the theme. It reads the project's Tailwind build, so it knows its custom utilities, variants and theme. It runs under oxlint only; there is no ESLint version. Docs: https://oxlint-tailwindcss.pages.dev — every page is also plain markdown at the same path with `.md` (https://oxlint-tailwindcss.pages.dev/setup.md), and https://oxlint-tailwindcss.pages.dev/llms.txt lists them. ## Set it up 1. **Check the requirements.** Tailwind CSS v4.1.15 or newer, with its CSS entry point — Tailwind v3 and `tailwind.config.js` projects are not supported. oxlint 1.43.0 or newer, and Node `^20.19.0 || >=22.12.0`. 2. **Install**, with the project's package manager: ```bash npm install -D oxlint oxlint-tailwindcss ``` 3. **Find the entry point**: the CSS file with `@import "tailwindcss"` (often `src/index.css`, `app/globals.css` or `src/styles.css`). It is required: the plugin never guesses it. …

How to install
mdr add sergioazoc/oxlint-tailwindcss/oxlint-tailwindcss@sha256:fe9241fbe726c66fThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260926.78e8e96, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
