Atomic low-cost text-to-image skill backed by ModelScope Z-Image Turbo. Use when Codex needs cheap/free text-to-image generation for drafts, background assets, poster materials, testing, or batch visual exploration; use nook-image2-gpt instead for image-to-image or higher-quality production images.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # nook-zimage Low-cost text-to-image provider using ModelScope `Tongyi-MAI/Z-Image-Turbo`. Use this as an atomic image provider. It generates local image files from prompts; it does not design posters, write text onto images, or make final cards. ## Quick Deploy (one-shot, for AI agents) If a user just gave you this repo URL and said "deploy" / "install" / "set it up" / "部署": 1. Clone to a stable path (not a temp folder — the MCP config records the absolute path). ```bash git clone https://github.com/captain-nook/nook_skills.git cd nook_skills/nook-zimage ``` 2. Run `node setup.js`. It will ask for the user's `MS_API_KEY` (ModelScope SDK token). If you (the agent) have no TTY, pass it via env or argv: `MS_API_KEY=xxx node setup.js`. If a sibling `nook-qwen-image/.env` already has a key, this setup reuses it. 3. Setup auto-detects Trae IDE / Codex CLI / Claude Code / Cursor / Windsurf / Kiro / Continue and writes the MCP config. If your client is missing, see `references/agent-deployment.md`. 4. Restart the user's agent and probe with "生一个美女 1024x1024". How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
