Bootstrap .adlc/ structure in a new repo or subdirectory.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # /init — Bootstrap ADLC Structure You are setting up the `.adlc/` directory structure for spec-driven development. ## Ethos !`test -s .adlc/ETHOS.md && cat .adlc/ETHOS.md || echo No ethos found — run /init, or /adlc:init on the plugin install, to vendor .adlc/ETHOS.md` ## Input The target is the argument: whatever follows `/init` in the invocation (on Claude Code it can also arrive as an `ARGUMENTS:` line appended to this text), a directory to initialize. With none, the current working directory. A `--harness <name>[,<name>…]` flag in the argument names the agent harnesses whose project layer Step 8 renders (REQ-657 BR-11). Strip it before reading the directory. Without it the harness list is `claude` alone. A non-Claude harness's project layer is written only when the flag names it, never because `adlc harness detect` found its binary, and only the adapters shipped under the toolkit's `harness/` directory can be named. ## Instructions ### Step 1: Determine Target Directory 1. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
