Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. 1. Identify comments that explain obvious code, restate syntax, or explain temporary workarounds that should be deleted.
2. Distinguish legitimate constraints (hard external requirements, regulatory/spec references, non-obvious invariants) from redundant explanations.
3. Convert valid constraint comments into types, tests, assertions, or lints whenever possible.
4. Delete redundant commentary, commented-out dead code, and speculative notes.
5. Verify that code remains readable and self-documenting through clear naming and small, focused functions.
The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260908.f096f61, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
