Checkpoint the WUWEI day with the report and the steward's retro. Use when the owner ends the day, pauses, or wants to see where things stand. Closing never locks anything; a later plan pass reopens the day. Not for starting or re-planning the day (/wuwei-run) or a routine pass over open work (/wuwei-watch).

Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. What the file says

# /wuwei-close

1. Run `wuwei close`. It writes `.wuwei/days/<date>/report.md` for the day so far; a second close
   the same day starts with what changed since the first.
2. Launch the steward (agent type `steward`) with the report path. It writes
   `.wuwei/retro/<date>.md` with at most three proposals: defect vaccines, calibration and yield
   findings, skills and memory lines for a repository, rules and charter lines to retire.
3. Apply each proposal that changes how the process runs to `.wuwei/standards.md` (one dated line
   each). A proposal for a repository's `CLAUDE.md`, `AGENTS.md`, skills or a charter becomes a
   light plan item, built and reviewed like any change. A goal change waits for the owner's next
   plan pass.
4. Housekeeping: advise, and act only on what this session started.
   - Worktrees whose item is done, parked or dropped: read `git worktree list` against the plan.
     Remove a clean one with `git worktree remove`; name a dirty one and leave it.
   - Background shells and tasks this session started that still run: stop them with the
     harness's own task tools.
   - Scratch folders of seats that finished: remove them.

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261022.bcdfc1b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
