Testing conventions and patterns.

Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Testing Rules

- Test runner: Vitest (not Jest) — run with `npm test`
- Tests are colocated next to source files, not in a separate directory
- Web portal tests: `npm run test:portal` (separate Vite project)
- Never skip or disable existing tests to make new code pass
- Use `vi.fn()` for mocks, `vi.spyOn()` for spies
- Test files follow `kebab-case.test.ts` naming
- Batched execution via `scripts/run-vitest-batches.mjs` — don't modify without approval
