## Overview
The introspection attack-surface catalog
([references/introspection.md](references/introspection.md)) names
query-depth limiting and query-cost limiting as key DoS mitigations, but
nothing in that catalog executes a test. This skill closes that gap: it
authors tests that send an over-limit query and assert a validation error
is returned _before_ any resolver runs. The strongest request-layer
mitigation - persisted-query allowlisting - is cataloged in
[references/persisted-queries.md](references/persisted-queries.md).
Three library families are covered:
- `graphql-depth-limit` (npm: `graphql-depth-limit`, canonical repo

How to install
mdr add testland/qa/graphql-complexity-limit-tester@sha256:beab214c527b4685The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.4.4, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
