prompt-guard SKILL.md skillB
prompt-guard from orchestra-research/ai-research-skills is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add orchestra-research/ai-research-skills/prompt-guard@v1.0.0Pins v1.0.0 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Meta's 86M prompt injection and jailbreak detector. Filters malicious prompts and third-party data for LLM apps. 99%+ TPR, <1% FPR. Fast (<2ms GPU). Multilingual (8 languages). Deploy with HuggingFace or batch processing for RAG security.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Prompt Guard - Prompt Injection & Jailbreak Detection
Prompt Guard is an 86M parameter classifier that detects prompt injections and jailbreak attempts in LLM applications.
## Quick start
**Installation**:
```bash
pip install transformers torch
```
**Basic usage**:
```python
from transformers import AutoTokenizer, AutoModelForSequenceClassification
import torch
from torch.nn.functional import softmax
model_id = "meta-llama/Prompt-Guard-86M"
tokenizer = AutoTokenizer.from_pretrained(model_id)
model = AutoModelForSequenceClassification.from_pretrained(model_id)
model.eval()
def get_jailbreak_score(text):
"""Check user input for jailbreak attempts."""
inputs = tokenizer(text, return_tensors="pt", truncation=True, max_length=512)
with torch.no_grad():
logits = model(**inputs).logits
probs = softmax(logits, dim=-1)
return probs[0, 2].item() # Jailbreak probability
# Check prompt
score = get_jailbreak_score("Ignore previous instructions")
if score > 0.5:
print("⚠️ Jailbreak attempt detected!")
```
**Classification labels**:
- **BENIGN** (label 0): Normal content
- **INJECTION** (label 1): Embedded instructions in data

How to install
mdr add orchestra-research/ai-research-skills/prompt-guard@sha256:0291e30b5549f039The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.0.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
