release-day SKILL.md skillA
This file is byte-identical to the first copy the registry indexed, one of 3 indexed copies. Same content hash, so the same checks give both the same grade.
release-day from oleg-koval/agent-skills is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add oleg-koval/agent-skills/release-day@git:20260828.aaaffd4Pins git:20260828.aaaffd4 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Orchestrate a full release-day workflow for iOS, Android, or Garmin apps: verify the main branch CI is green, generate a changelog from git history, draft platform-ready store listing copy, trigger semantic-release (or tag manually), wait for the build, and queue the App Store submission. Use when the user says "cut a release", "ship version X", "it's release day", or "prepare the release".
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Release Day
Drive a release from "code is ready" to "build submitted" in one orchestrated pass.
Each phase validates its output before proceeding: the skill stops and reports
rather than pushing a broken release.
## Inputs
- **Platform** (required): `ios`, `android`, `garmin`, or `all`
- **Version** (optional): explicit version to release; if omitted, semantic-release
determines the next version automatically
- **Branch** (optional, default: `main`): branch to release from
- **--dry-run** (optional): run all checks and generate all copy without pushing
the tag or submitting to the store
## Phase 1: Verify the branch is ready
```bash
BRANCH="${Branch:-main}"
git fetch origin "$BRANCH"
BRANCH_SHA=$(git rev-parse "origin/$BRANCH")
# Validate optional Version input
if [ -n "$Version" ]; then
…Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add oleg-koval/agent-skills/release-day@sha256:1e370573ed907604The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260828.aaaffd4, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
