Use when running local LLMs — pull and manage models, write Modelfiles, call the REST API (generate/chat/embed) with streaming, use the OpenAI-compatible endpoint, or tune context length, GPU offload and keep-alive. Ollama: MIT-licensed local inference runtime for Llama, Qwen, DeepSeek, Gemma, gpt-oss and embedding models.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent.
