# Exa Search

Neural search for web content, code, companies, and people via the Exa MCP server.

## When to Activate

- User needs current web information or news
- Searching for code examples, API docs, or technical references

## MCP Requirement

Exa MCP server must be configured. Add to `~/.claude.json`:

How to install

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260512.6523792, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
