Search, browse, and download Google Fonts from the terminal via the gfonts CLI. No API key required. Use when the user asks about fonts, font recommendations, font pairing, or needs to download typefaces.

# gfonts — Google Fonts CLI
Zero-auth CLI for searching, browsing, and downloading fonts from Google Fonts.
## Prerequisites: Install the CLI
This skill drives the `gfonts-pp-cli` binary. **You must verify the CLI is installed before invoking any command from this skill.** If it is missing, install it first:
1. Install via the Printing Press installer. It defaults binaries to `$HOME/.local/bin` on macOS/Linux and `%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\PrintingPress\bin` on Windows:

npx -y @mvanhorn/printing-press-library install gfonts --cli-only
```
2. Verify: `gfonts-pp-cli --version`
3. Ensure the reported install directory is on `$PATH` for the agent/runtime that will invoke this skill.

How to install
mdr add mvanhorn/printing-press-library/gfonts@sha256:5d38dffc48a67c8fThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260822.c5d66da, which is what most people want.
