Extract stable project knowledge without altering or overstating source material.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Read-only inventory Summarize stable architecture, product decisions, operating constraints, and durable outputs that will help with future work. Prefer short sections and bullets. Exclude transient execution details, raw logs, secrets, tokens, credentials, and speculative recommendations. This is a managed index, not a replacement for hand-authored wiki documents. Do not emit file contents other than the requested index. The `## Product` section is workflow-owned: the product deep dive and code map procedures write its `### Feature map` and `### Code map` subsections directly, and Tin re-inserts the current section verbatim after you finish. Do not emit a `## Product` heading or restate its contents; summarize product facts elsewhere only when a supplied source establishes them.

How to install
mdr add tin-computer/tin/01-readonly-inventory@sha256:b805271d8433b960The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260922.f7d57de, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
