Find the answer in the SuperCollider documentation that ships with the install instead of guessing - what sc_help's search, answer, class and index actions return, what the .schelp tree looks like (over a thousand files: Classes, Guides, Reference, Overviews), how to read a class page for its argument names, and where the server's OSC commands are written down.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Scouting the docs SuperCollider is a large language with a small vocabulary of *obvious* names and a large one of non-obvious ones. `SinOsc` is what you expect; `Decay2`, `LeakDC`, `DetectSilence`, `LocalIn` and `RandSeed` are not. And a UGen's argument order is not guessable: `RLPF.ar(in, freq, rq)` and `BPF.ar(in, freq, rq)` look alike, `MoogFF.ar(in, freq, gain)` does not. The install ships its own reference — on the machine this was written on, **1146 `.schelp` files** under `HelpSource/`. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
