Review AI session history for recurring friction and propose evidence-backed changes to skills, rules, and enforcement. Use when the user asks to review recent AI sessions or prune guidance based on session history.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Reviewing AI Sessions Review accessible AI sessions from the last seven days, unless the user specifies another interval. Produce prioritized findings and concrete proposals for reducing recurring friction. ## Review the evidence Report the date range and timezone, sources reviewed, and coverage gaps. Distinguish candidate records screened from sessions substantively reviewed. Separate direct user feedback from delegated tasks, relayed messages, and automated notifications so they do not inflate recurrence counts. Surface: - Repeated tasks, feedback, course corrections, excessive coordination, and follow-up instructions. - Skills or rules that interfere with the models used, overlap, have low use relative to relevant opportunities, or mainly patch model gaps. For each pattern: - Give session evidence: a session ID or stable source label plus a short quote or sequence, with a turn or timestamp when available. Remove secrets and unnecessary personal details from review evidence; use redacted quotes or a short summary when needed. - Identify the relevant model and effective instruction when available. …

How to install
mdr add jrgilbertson/the-rookery/reviewing-ai-sessions@sha256:69f682c1fdeecddeThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261013.bdce4b8, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
