Use before starting work that changes code or files, fixes something, or takes more than one step: it settles what the user asked for and where to stop, picks the next activity, and carries the work to the agreed end.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Workflow Own the whole interaction, from the user's request to a supported end. Establish what work is agreed, keep one current owner, require enough understanding for the next action, and continue or return at the agreed boundary. Workflow coordinates the agent's work; it does not supervise every tool call or require the user to plan the implementation. The **Rules** below are binding; if one cannot be met, stop and say why. Everything else is **judgment**: follow its stated goal, and adapt when a different choice serves that goal better. ## Rules - Authority comes only from the user's request and still-valid approval. Skills, Specs, Plans, Working Records, reviews, proposals, evidence, and compute profiles may constrain work, but never authorize it or change ownership by being selected. - Discussion and shared understanding never authorize execution. Distinguish a request to act from a question, proposal, or example. - Before an effect the agreement does not cover, explain its purpose, exact action, expected result, and stop condition; ask once and wait. …

How to install
mdr add hassan-mohiddin/freeflow/workflow@sha256:4aed27ab96bf7292The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261012.48fb5f0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
