Create wireframes or a clickable prototype and run a lightweight usability test, recording findings. Part of the PDLC Define phase.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Prototype UX For UI-bearing initiatives, de-risk the experience before build: produce wireframes or a clickable prototype, run a short usability test, and record what was learned. For initiatives with no UI surface, this skill is a no-op (state `surface: none` and skip). ## Prerequisites - Apply the shared PDLC conventions in `skills/pdlc/references/shared.md`. - `prd.md` with functional requirements. ## Steps 1. Determine whether the initiative has a UI surface. If not, write `prototype.md` with `surface: none` and stop. 2. Map the key user journeys the prototype must cover (tie to `FR-N` requirements). 3. Produce the lowest-fidelity artifact that lets a user complete the journey: sketches, wireframes, or a clickable prototype. Fidelity should match the risk — higher fidelity only where a workflow question is unresolved. 4. Run a usability test with 3-5 target users (or teammates role-playing the persona). Task them with the journeys; observe where they struggle. 5. Record findings as usability risks ranked by severity, each tied to a requirement or journey step. …

How to install
mdr add tomzx/agents/prototype-ux@sha256:24ff8a5f103bfb0eThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.b35fc4b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
