Use to diagnose and fix EvoFlow plugin problems. Applies when a plugin is not listed in the marketplace, fails to install, has missing components (skills/commands/hooks/MCP), is not enabled, or its icon does not display. Provides storage layout, install mechanism, enable state, and a step-by-step localization and repair workflow.

# Diagnosing Plugins Configuration
Goal: reduce any plugin problem to a concrete file or state edit.
## 1. Storage layout
Plugin storage root: `{EVOFLOW_HOME}/data/plugins/` (or `$EVOFLOW_PLUGIN_STORAGE_ROOT`).

## 2. Key files and their roles
### `installed_plugins.json`
Contains:
- `plugins`: array of `InstalledPluginRecord` (id, name, marketplace, version, installPath, scope, installedAt)
- `enabledPlugins`: `{ "plugin_id": true/false }` — default is **enabled** unless explicitly `false`
### `known_marketplaces.json`
List of marketplace sources (URL, git, local path). The official marketplace (`evoflow-plugins-official`) is seeded automatically.

How to install
mdr add evovexai/evoflow/diagnosing-plugins@sha256:e4fbc905c8522e25The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261016.a5d3a8b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
