Scaffolds a new Expo React Native app with the tabs template, expo-router, react-native-mmkv, expo-dev-client, and expo-iap at their latest compatible versions using Bun, then runs prebuild and writes the project CLAUDE.md commands. Invoke only with /expo-app-initialize <project-name>.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Expo App Initialize Create a production-ready Expo React Native app from the tabs template and configure it with the standard dependencies. Use Bun for every command. Never use npm, yarn, or npx; use `bunx` for one-off tools. Project name: `$ARGUMENTS`. If that value is empty or starts with a dollar sign (Codex does not replace the placeholder), take the name from the invocation message. If no name was passed, ask the user for a project name before running anything. ## Versions Use the latest version of every package that is compatible with the project. Never copy a version number from memory or from this skill. - Create the project with `create-expo@latest`, so the app starts on the newest stable Expo SDK. …

How to install
mdr add richkuo/rk-skills/expo-app-initialize@sha256:1ea2f2cda8e9e902The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.e110522, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
