Route a Jam (a jam.dev screen recording or screenshot with the console, network and user actions attached) to the right Jam skill. Use when the user shares a jam.dev link with no clear ask ("look at this jam", a bare link), or types /jam. For a clear ask (fix, test, ticket, record, annotate), use that skill directly.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# jam
Read the request, pick one skill below, and load it with your skill tool
(the Skill tool in Claude Code, `$name` in Codex), not by opening its file,
so its references and scripts resolve. Do not do the work from this file;
the target skill holds the steps. Say which skill you picked in one line
before you start.
## Route by what was asked
| The user wants | Load |
| --- | --- |
| the cause of a bug, a fix, triage, "what went wrong" | `jam-fix` |
| an e2e test, a regression test, a repro | `jam-to-e2e` |
| the changes they narrated done ("do what I said", "make it look like this") | `jam-to-tasks` |
| a ticket in Linear, GitHub Issues or Jira, or whether one exists | `jam-to-ticket` |
| a recorded Jam of their change working, a shareable demo video | `jam-proof` |
| a screenshot marked up and shared as a Jam | `jam-annotate` |
| one table of claims and the Jam that shows each | `jam-proof-table` |
| a video file they already have turned into Jams | `video-to-jam` |
| Jam set up for this agent: the CLI, sign-in, Jam MCP, the skills | `jam-setup` |
| a polished, narrated demo video of a feature | `record-demo` |
| a spoken voiceover on a video | `add-voiceover` |
…Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add jamdotdev/jam-plugin/jam@sha256:0bd3668210995785The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261102.ad202ef, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
