Find the right skill when none of the listed ones clearly fits a task (a framework, file format, cloud service or workflow), or when a moaa-catalog hook note names one; covers disabled plugins, and enabled ones whose descriptions are trimmed. Search first; never enable plugins just to look.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # MOAA catalog: skills on demand
MOAA installs big skill packs (agentic-awesome-skills, ruflo extras) disabled, so their skills are not listed in every
request. Their files stay on disk, indexed in `~/.claude/moaa-catalog/index.json` (rebuilt only when plugins or
settings change; a search takes milliseconds).
1. A hook may already have named matches for the user's prompt ("moaa-catalog: skills that may fit...").
Otherwise search with 1 to 4 specific words:

2. A hit from an enabled plugin says `Skill tool, skill "plugin:name"`: invoke it that way. A hit from a disabled
plugin is loaded into this session with one call, which also logs the use:

How to install
mdr add ahmadhammoud56/moaa/moaa-catalog@sha256:538717d87afacfc6The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261022.4e3c80b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
