Design a polished product interface through adaptive consultation, a shared canvas/prototype/walkthrough studio, and an implementation-ready specification. Use for a new design or an existing interface that needs a coherent direction.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # OpenPlanr Design Develop one strong direction in the active host session, grounded in the product and its visual language. Deliver editable local source, a working review studio, and a ten-section design specification ready for Plan. ## Choose where to design When the host can publish a hosted design canvas, design there by following [hosted-canvas.md](references/hosted-canvas.md), unless the user asks for the local studio. Its rules replace the studio, document and verification steps below; consultation and the specification still apply. Every other host uses the local studio. ## Consult and establish direction Read [discovery.md](references/discovery.md) before generating. Inspect the brief, app shell, components, tokens, assets, reference screens, prior design and project taste. Ask only consequential unresolved questions using the host's native structured question surface, or one concise chat question when unavailable. Honor previous answers and presentation choices. mdr add openplanr/openplanr/planr-design@sha256:385c296eb792db6eThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.e49d598, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
