Inspect and modify the connected Power BI Desktop semantic model using powerbi-agent — list tables, measures, relationships, and add new measures. # Skill: Inspect and Modify the Semantic Model
## Trigger
Activate when the user wants to inspect tables / measures / relationships, asks "what's in the model", wants to add a measure, or requests an overview of the data model.
## Prerequisites
Requires an active connection — run `pbi-agent connect` first if any command fails with "no connection".
## Commands

## Guidance
- `add-measure` **overwrites** an existing measure with the same name — confirm with the user before replacing.

How to install
mdr add santoshkanthety/powerbi-agent/powerbi-model@sha256:39041e0d787b53b8The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261005.504c1f5, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
