Generate a project-specific web design reference sheet (docs/design/design-reference.md) and companion enforcement skill for any website codebase. Extracts CSS custom properties, validates against a JSON schema scratchpad, inspects components, and produces a 12-section document covering colours, typography, spacing, layout, borders, shadows, motion, accessibility, dark mode, and Figma sync notes. Use when starting a new project, onboarding a design system, creating a Figma reference sheet…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Web Design Reference Sheet Generator Generate a project-specific design reference sheet and companion enforcement skill from any website codebase, mirroring the structure of the [Figma Web Design Reference Sheet](https://www.figma.com/community/file/1318219306256490255/web-design-reference-sheet). --- ## Mindset **Document what exists, not what should exist.** Every invented token is technical debt dressed as documentation — developers trust the reference sheet and will use the wrong values in production. When data is missing, write `TBD — not yet defined`. A reference sheet with honest gaps is more useful than one with plausible fictions. - Document only values found in source: no inferred, expanded or "sensible default" tokens. - Read the real CSS and config files first: well-known frameworks still carry project-level overrides. - Mark every gap with `TBD — not yet defined` instead of leaving it blank or filling it in. - Produce the output even from a sparse codebase: honest gaps are a valid result. --- ## When to Use - Starting a new project and needing a living design token reference - Onboarding a design system from an existing codebase …

How to install
mdr add pantheon-org/tekhne/web-reference-sheet-generator@sha256:ebc51ea8b78d00f0The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.1.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
