Use on any page build, redesign, or 'make it look better' request on a site that has (or needs) a saved Art Direction. Loads the direction before the first element is written, plans tokens in two passes against the direction's donts and the known AI-default aesthetics, builds with tokens preserved, checks the result with respira_check_design, and mints a live preview. Also the import lane for Claude Design output and other design-system documents.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. A site's Art Direction is one saved document: palette, fonts, spacing, guidance, donts, and waivers, with readiness computed on every save and guessed values flagged `inferred: true`. This skill makes sure that document exists before any visual work starts, that every token in the build traces back to it, and that the finished page is checked against it instead of eyeballed. It does not replace a human designer. How to install
mdr add respira-press/agent-skills-wordpress/art-direction@sha256:4f8dbbe1dfb7fe95The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.2.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
